NORTHSIDE NETBALL |
St Joseph’s Secondary School, Stony Batter, Dublin 7
This is easily walk able from town (25 minutes or less, depending on where you start from!). If it’s raining and you do decide to bus, the 37, 39, 39A, 39B and 70 all stop outside the Londis in Stony Batter.
Busses depart from Hawkins St (opposite Screen D'Olier Cinema and Mona Lisa restaurant) AND from outside the main National Irish Bank on Dame St. From both locations the 37, 39, 39A, 39B travel along the Liffey and up Blackhall Road. Get off at the second stop after you turn away from the Liffey - outside the Londis Supermarket in Stony Batter (Manor St). Walk up the road a bit further and under the grey archway on the RIGHT hand side. Follow the signs for Netball Dublin.

You can also take the Tallaght Luas Line from town to the "Smithfield" stop and walk five minutes from there. "Smithfield" is called "Margadh Na Feirme" in Irish (and this may be all that is written on the inside or the tram). It means "Farmers' Market", which used to be held near here :)
If you are driving along King Nth St, take Hendricks St to avoid the one-way system. |

St Paul's Secondary School, North Brunswick St, Stony Batter, Dublin 7.
This venue is slightly closer to town than the netball venue and changing rooms and toilets are available.
The school is at the Church St end of North Brunswick St, which is a one-way street west to east. Enter the gate between the two main buildings, and walk around the back and to the right to find the administration desk. The sports hall is located at the back.

The #83 bus leaves from outside Bewleys on West Mooreland St and stops at the end of North Brunswick St, if you're running late!

SOUTHSIDE RATHMINES (Netball, Indoor Football ) |
St Mary’s School, Rathmines, Dublin 6
This venue is walkable from town (approx. 40 minutes), all games are played indoors and the facilities are excellent, with showers, changing rooms and toilets available. The court is new and full sized, and the venue is very modern – just built last year!

From town, after crossing the canal, continue for two minutes and you will see a rugby field and school on the right hand side. Walk around to the side of the school (right at the lights) and up the side road, then through the gate. Continue to the back of the school, where you will find the sports hall.
If you do decide to bus, these busses all stop right outside the venue (second stop after the canal): 15, 15a, 15b, 15c, 14, 14a, 65, 65b, 65c, 83. |
