Netball Dublin headed off to London for its return leg of our Annual Netball Dublin v MNA All-stars Netball tournament
We played on Saturday 24th November 2007 at North Westminster School in Paddington.The turn-out was fantastic, with 3 teams representing Netball Dublin ( Giddy up, One of yis’ & chicks & Dicks) We played great Netball through out the day and Congratulations to both Giddy up and One of yis’ for making the semis.The Final came down to MNA party stars & Giddy up, with Giddy up winning again by just one point in extra time. It was a nail biting experience……..
The score now stands at 4-4
Prize giving was held later at The Dudley Arms where we partied until late.
A special thanks to the Andy from MNA for a great day and night. Also a special thank you to the umpires on the Day!

Charity Christmas party

To mark the end of the 2006, Netball Dublin held a Charity Christmas party on Saturday 16th December at The Woolshed Baa, Parnell Street.
It was a great turn out on the Night with us raising 200 euro for Charity. The Chosen charity is Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital, so a big thank you for all of you who dug deep into your pockets on the Night.
We had lots of prizes to give away, including best player prizes, in which four players won free Jugs of Cocktails for bringing along there vouchers.
Netball Dublin gave away a 150 euro holiday vouchers, music vouchers, meal vouchers and of course some wine, so congratulation to all of you who won on the night.
Party nights are always brilliant nights to socialise with your team, meet other people from other sports and win lots of prizes with our raffles, spot prizes and games! Thanks to our sponsors The Woolshed Baa and Careers Register for sponsoring some of the prizes on the night!

Netball Dublin v MNA All-stars Netball tournament

Netball Dublin Ltd held its fourth Annual Netball Dublin v MNA All-stars Netball tournament on Saturday 18 th November 2006 at St. Mary’s School in Rathmines. The turn-out was fantastic, with 3 teams representing Netball Dublin ( Giddy up, One of yis’ & Bebro’s) and 3 teams representing MNA All-stars( MNA party Sluts, MNA party Stars & MNA Imposters) from London. The Final came down to MNA party stars & Giddy up, with Giddy up winning by just one point. The score now stand at 3-4 to MNA All-stars, and we are already looking forward to the return leg in February 2007.
Prize giving was held later that evening at The Rathmines Inn where trophies, medals and of course some drink was given away to the deserving teams. Congratulations to the following:
- 1 st place – Giddy Up
- 2 nd place – MNA party stars
Other prizes:
- Best Male – Costa ( MNA Party Stars)
- Best Female – Sarah ( MNA party Sluts)
- Friendliest Team – Bebro’s
- Raffle x 10 prizes
A special thanks to the referees, together with the dedication and experience of the Netball Dublin team, the tournament was an unforgettable and successful event!

END OF SEASON (Summer 2006) Prizegiving
SATURDAY 30Tth SEPTEMBER 2006 |
To mark the end of the Summer 2006 leagues, the End of Season prizegiving was held on Saturday 30th September at The Woolshed Baa, Parnell Street. The awards were presented to the Winners of all grades in every league, with Boat Races throughout the night. Prizegiving nights are always brilliant nights to socialise with your team, meet other people from other sports and win lots of prizes with our free raffles, spot prizes and games! Thanks to our sponsors The Woolshed Baa and Careers Register for sponsoring some of the prizes on the night!
